ALERT - ELARC Business Hours and Protocols for Entering the Building
In alignment with Governor Newsom’s plan to fully re-open California, ELARC’s offices are re-opened to the public. Both the ELARC Main office located at 1000 South Fremont Ave in Alhambra and the ELARC Satellite office located at 13215 Penn St. in Whittier are open for appointments only. Visitors may book appointments directly with the staff person with whom they intend to meet.
ELARC will be observing all current public health guidelines, including but not limited to masking and maintaining social distance, and will be asking all visitors to do the same. Visitors are required to wear masks. Additionally, all visitors are asked to complete a COVID-19 Entry Screening form prior to their appointment. The form is available below:

All ELARC Management staff will be in the office full time beginning May 24, 2021. As of June 7, 2021, Service Coordinators and other designated ELARC staff will continue to have the option to work partial remote schedules.

Until further notice, ELARC will continue to host all public meetings virtually. Public meetings include but are not limited to: the Board of Directors, Vendor Advisory Committee, Consumer Advisory Committee, Self Determination Local Advisory Committee, POS Data Review, and Performance Contract. Check the ELARC website Calendar for more information regarding these and other ELARC events.
Please note that the following are precautionary measures ELARC has taken to promote safety during this time:
- ELARC staff were eligible to receive the COVID 19 vaccine as of January 13, 2021.
- ELARC staff have been instructed to self-screen and are aware of current public health guidelines.
- ELARC staff have personal protective equipment available for their use for any on site or off site meetings.
- ELARC staff will make every effort to meet with individuals outside and physically distance themselves.
- Regarding monitoring visits, ELARC staff will limit the time in the facility and/or consumer’s living arrangement to no longer than necessary to make physical observations. ELARC will make virtual/remote paperwork an option as part of the monitoring visit.
Our business hours will remain from Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm
Please be assured the ELARC team will maintain the 24 hour emergency response system to support the individuals we serve, families, and vendor community.
