Partners in Community Inclusion

Partners in Community Inclusion (PICI) is an ongoing parent series for families who have young children and transition age youth with developmental disabilities served by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center.

Through a series of activity based meetings, parents learn to create a vision of inclusion for their children based on their own values and develop the skills and strategies to realize their vision.

The meetings are lively with energetic discussions and challenging activities. Guest speakers and workshops on related themes are often included in the series. A commitment to attend the full series is expected.

The PICI Series in English should be returning in 2016. The date should be announced by Spring, 2016. For more information contact: Mary Hosokawa at 626.299.4643.
