Self Determination Local Volunteer Advisory Committee

Self Determination is a new service delivery system available to all who qualify for Regional Center Services. This program allows for individuals to have more authority and freedom in how their services and supports are planned and implemented. Self Determination was developed as a voluntary alternative to the traditional way of providing regional center services.

To learn more about this program or to start the process, join our orientation! The orientation is separated into 2 parts.

Part 2 on November 16th, 2023, from 9:00am to 12:00pm will cover:

• A review of the budget,
• The Spending Plan,
• The Financial Management Service (FMS),
• Rights & Safety, and
• What are the next steps to get you started with Self Determination. 

*You need to attend Part 1 before attending Part 2*

*If you want to enter into the program, taking the Orientation is required*

La autodeterminación se desarrolló como una alternativa voluntaria a la forma tradicional de proporcionar servicios de centros regionales.
