CAC burst

The ELARC Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) is made up of adult individuals who are served directly by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center. The role of the CAC is to provide input to the Board of Directors on all matters that are important to the individuals Regional Center serves. Also, to empower membership through topic discussions, presentations and education on the power of Self Advocacy.  The CAC is committed to growing its membership and making an impact in the community.

The CAC meetings have social community-based time where individuals can meet each other and discuss problems or issues and brainstorm to find solutions. The Consumer Advocate will also provide important updates on what has happened between meetings and answer questions that individuals have. The CAC also has an information and education time where a guest speaker presents on a specific topic that was chosen by the members of the CAC.

The Consumer Advisory Committee Meetings!

The Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) is a committee run by the individuals served by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center (ELARC) where we come together to learn about and discuss topics of importance that are selected by our members. All individuals who are 18 years of age or older and served by ELARC are welcomed to attend these meetings. These are meetings FOR consumers, run BY consumers. We look forward to seeing you during 2023! The CAC is also a great way to meet other consumers/peers.

For ELARC's Board of Directors and the Advisory Committees meetings, please view the 2024 ELARC Board & Advisory Meetings flyer. You can also visit the Board of Directors page here.

If you have any questions, please contact Patrick Schattilly (626) 299-4854. Email: pschattilly@elarc.org

Please Note: the CAC are consumer-run meetings.
