Self Determination is here and this exciting program will allow for a new way for the people we serve to have more authority and freedom in how their services and supports are planned and implemented. Self Determination was developed as a voluntary alternative to the traditional way of providing regional center services and is intended to offer people more freedom and control over how their services are provided and more freedom and control in who supports them.
Join this special orientation where parts 1 and 2 are provided in one Saturday.

Part 1 will cover:
- The history of SD & the 5 Principles,
- Person Centered Planning,
- Home & Community Based Services (HCBS),
- Services,
- The Independent Facilitator,
- The Budget
Part 2 will cover:
- A Review of the Budget,
- The Spending Plan,
- The Financial Management Service (FMS),
- Rights & Safety,
- What are the next steps to get you started with Self Determination

- El Plan de Gastos,
- El Servicio de Administración Financiera (FMS),
- Derechos y Seguridad,
- Los siguientes pasos para comenzar con Autodeterminación
