  • Date: June 16, 2022 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Self Determination is here and this exciting program will allow for a new way for the people we serve to have more authority and freedom in how their services and supports are planned and implemented. Self Determination was developed as a voluntary alternative to the traditional way of providing regional center services and is intended to offer people more freedom and control over how their services are provided and more freedom and control in who supports them.

To learn more about this program or to start the process, join our Orientation! The orientation is separated into 2 parts:

Part 1 on June 16 will cover:

  • The history of SD & the 5 Principles
  • Person Centered Planning
  • Home & Community Based Services (HCBS)
  • Services
  • The Independent Facilitator
  • The Budget
