As COVID – 19 continues to affect everyone’s lives, the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) continues to support innovative and creative approaches to service delivery in response to changing needs and priorities of those served by the Regional Centers. Most recently, DDS released a directive regarding policies and procedures for utilizing alternative non-residential services (Alternative Services) during COVID State of Emergency. DDS continues to provide information and training on Alternative Services as well as continues to update existing and release new directives at this time. Because information is still developing ELARC invites all service providers to join in this weekly discussion in order to stay informed and work together.
