The Eastern Los Angeles Family Resource Center (FRC) specializes in providing support, information, education, resources, and training for individuals with disabilities and their families, as well as the professionals and community members who work with them, in the eastern region of Los Angeles County.
The FRC is an Early Start resource center that works in cooperation with the community to provide quality programs and events. Emotional support is also offered for families and individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages. It fosters awareness and respect for diverse cultures, as well as home-school-community collaboration. The Eastern Los Angeles FRC website is currently under construction. Founded in 1997, Family Voices of California (FVCA) is a statewide collaborative of locally-based parent-run centers working to ensure quality health care for children and youth with special health care needs. Eastern Los Angeles FRC is the local southern California member agency, providing resources, referrals and emotional support. The Eastern Los Angeles FRC website is currently under construction.
